The Story
Plants were a recurring theme in precolonial jewelry, with many ancient gold examples sporting leaf motifs. This is because the ancient Filipinos had an innate connection to nature that inspired them in different aspects of their lives, including jewelry and adornment. Our ancestors lived in harmony with the flow of nature, understanding the need for balance. This ancient way of life was lost to us when we were colonized.

The Sinta Cuff features two abalone leaves opposite each other to remind us to heed nature's call to balance.

Each of our pieces is completely handcrafted with natural seashells, so any variation in size, color, or pattern is completely natural, making each piece unique.
Due to the intricacies involved in the crafting of our jewelry, each design is only available in a limited number of pieces.
