The Story
The sun wasn't the only heavenly body of importance to the ancient Filipinos. Our ancestors also worshipped the moon as a deity and recognized its connection to the earth – how it dictated the flow of the tides, marked the passage of time, and so on. They were attuned to nature and lived and grew alongside it.

They were attuned to nature and lived and grew alongside it.
The Diwa Earrings reflect this innate connection to the natural world. It features our "cracked" mother-of-pearl inlay, representing the moon holding sway over nature, here represented by little gold leafs, which were also inspired by precolonial gold jewelry motifs.
Details
Materials: Mother-of-pearl "cracked"-style inlay, 24 kt gold-plated brass, stainless steel posts and backs. Stainless steel findings make these safe for sensitive ears.
Measurements: Earrings drop 6 cm and are quite light, weighing at about 10 g each.
